The 27-year-old singer met the British rapper at the BRIT Awards and it is claimed they were flirty with each other before swapping numbers at the end of the evening.
A source told UK newspaper the Daily Star: 'Cheryl was really looking forward to meeting Tinie. She's a huge fan and thinks he's really good looking.
'They chatted for a while and ended up swapping numbers.'
The rapper also spoke about Cole and said: 'I met Cheryl at the awards for the first time and jeez man, she's even more beautiful in the flesh. And so sweet.'
