CHERYL COLE will duet with Snow Patrol at a charity concert for Children In Need.
The Girls Aloud star will team up with the Northern Irish rockers and sing Martha Wainwright's lines from the band's song Set The Fire To The Third Bar, at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Thursday.
Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody said people had "raised an eyebrow" when they heard about the collaboration.
Speaking to the Spinner Music website, he said: "People have raised an eyebrow now and again when we've mentioned we're doing it with Cheryl Cole but I think it's going to be a really interesting experience."
Other acts taking part in the gig for the BBC charity include Muse, Take That, Sir Paul McCartney, Dame Shirley Bassey and Dizzee Rascal.
Lightbody said everyone performing was lined up to sing a duet.
He added: "Everyone doing that gig has to duet with someone from the gig.
"Everyone gets a partner, it was like getting a partner at school. We got the prettiest girl in the class!
