The 27-year-old singer is rumoured to be on the judging panel of the US version of the X Factor, which Simon Cowell is due to launch in the States later this year.
A source told UK newspaper, the News Of The World: 'Cheryl has made it clear she will never lose her accent, but she has to make some adjustments to be understood.
'She is also going to start meeting some of the top stylists. Fox want to avoid some of the quirkier outfits Cheryl liked to wear on the X Factor. She's not a pop star over here yet.'
