Cheryl Cole's accountants have told her she could end up making a loss from her UK tour.
The Girls Aloud singer and solo artist has been warned that her budget is getting out of control.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Cheryl wants to make her show as amazing as possible and if that means spending a load of cash on it, so be it.
"If it were a longer tour, she would make money back from ticket sales. But the ideas she's coming up with at the moment are not going to come cheap."
Cheryl will play 11 dates in the United Kingdom in October, starting in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
There are a few themes she's working on, taking inspiration from shows by Katy Perry, Rihanna, Jay-Z and Kanye West.
It recently emerged that the busy star can't eat when she's stressed.
The 'Fight For This Love' singer - who split from husband Ashley Cole in 2010 - loses her appetite when she has personal problems, though she has always tried to watch what she eats since she shot to fame after taking part in 'Popstars: The Rivals' in 2002.
Cheryl's niece Melissa Armstrong said: "Cheryl tells us that if she gets stressed with men, she can't eat. When she went on 'Popstars: The Rivals', I remember [Girls Aloud] were all upset because they were told to lose weight. That was ridiculous."
