Christina Aguilera has vowed to break the "girl curse" and win the upcoming season of the hit reality television show The Voice.
During a chat on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday (15Feb16), the singer-songwriter gushed that she is excited to take back the red chair from Gwen Stefani, who and feels strongly that she will be the first female mentor to win the competition.
"We call it the girl curse - no female coach has ever taken home an actual winner which is weird," she smiled.
"It is a little imbalanced around those parts so I can see the odds are a little against us. But this year my team is really solid and even the boys are like, 'Man, you might break the girl curse this year!'"
The 35-year-old blonde beauty also admits that she is pumped her friend and fellow musician Miley Cyrus, 23, will be joining the reality show as a key advisor.
"She's so much fun, guys. We are both Sagittarians which I love; we are both fire signs and she just likes to live in the moment and she's free.
"She won't let the boys push her around, which I like. I'm like, someone has got to set them straight sometimes!" joked Christina.
The Grammy Award-winning star will again be joined by judges Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams in the red swivel chairs for season 10 of the Emmy-winning competition series.
Meanwhile, Gwen will be back on the show serving as an advisor for her boyfriend Blake on Team Blake, Puff Daddy will be on Team Pharrell, Tori Kelly will be advising Adam, and Patti LaBelle will also work with Christina.
Fans will no doubt be looking forward to seeing Gwen and Blake working together. The loved up couple started dating in 2015 an recently attended Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy Gala together on Saturday (13 Feb16).
The Voice will premiere on NBC on February 29 (16).
