No Doubt star Gwen Stefani and new beau Blake Shelton have apparently got The Voice production team excited with their relationship.
Gwen and Blake put weeks of speculation to bed when they declared they were an item last week (beg02Nov15), after they were spotted flaunting their budding romance at a Halloween bash. As well as both enjoying successful singing careers, the two act as mentors on The Voice US, and since they've come clean about their union, show bosses are said to want to capitalise on it.
"Now that Blake and Gwen have gone public with their relationship, there will most definitely be expectations on them to act like boyfriend and girlfriend on-air," a TV source divulged to Radar.
"Production is discussing whether or not they should now move their seats on the judging row so that they sit next to each other."
The Voice sees contestants go through a blind audition, where the judges only spin their chairs if they like what they hear. They then vie for the contestant, who has the power to choose which judge they want from the ones that turned around. It heats up again further down the line, where judges have a chance to steal the wannabes again.
"The executives are even hinting to them that, when it gets to battle round, they should play it up for the cameras so that they purposely steal each other's eliminated contestants," the source added.
The news of Gwen and Blake dating comes amid reports the Don't Speak singer's estranged husband Gavin Rossdale is suspicious about the timing of the romance. He and Gwen split in August (15) after nearly 13 years of marriage. Blake and Miranda Lambert also ended their marriage this year (15), saying their goodbyes in July after four years as husband and wife.
