Gwen Stefani says working on the new No Doubt album is "everything" to her at the moment.
The star has reunited with her bandmates Tony Kanal, Adrian Young and Tom Dumont to record new music. The rock group entered the studio in May 2010 to start work on their sixth studio album. Gwen says she is focusing all her energies on finishing the record.
"I think lately, my new secret is just trying to delegate. I just make priorities of what's important at the moment," she told Access Hollywood. "Right now, the No Doubt record is everything for me."
Gwen had hoped the project would be finished by December 2010.
However, the 42-year-old admits there has been a delay because she has to juggle her music career with motherhood and her three fashion lines.
Gwen has two sons with her husband Gavin Rossdale - Kingston, five, and three-year-old Zuma.
"We do this thing where we work on it really hard, and then we take breaks, because everybody has so much going on. That's why it's taking so long," she explained. "Everybody asks, 'Why is it taking so long?' Because I have kids. I'm a mom! I have school, I have homework. It's a lot."
The new No Doubt record is due to be released next year.
