Gwen Stefani's husband thinks she's "amazing" even though he isn't a "fan" of her music.
The platinum-haired singer recently reformed with punk pop band No Doubt after taking a break to pursue solo projects and have children.
Gwen's husband Gavin Rossdale fronts rock band Bush, and the star has ruled out ever collaborating on a music project with him.
"Oh, he's never been a fan of what we do. He's more into dark, indie stuff. But I'm not saying he doesn't think I'm amazing," she smiled in an interview with British newspaper The Guardian.
"Oh God, that's going to be a headline, isn't it? 'Gavin thinks Gwen's amazing!'"
Gwen released albums Love. Angel. Music. Baby. and The Sweet Escape while No Doubt were taking a break. The star feels more at home fronting No Doubt.
"It just feels so much more natural being back in this mode. The solo records allowed me to indulge my girly side but it was never meant to be taken seriously," she explained.
"It was just like an art project that kept going longer than I expected. The group never ended – we always knew we'd come back to make this album."
No Doubt are currently promoting their new record Push and Shove.
