Gwen Stefani is puzzled by 'confirmed' reports suggesting she and Blake Shelton are dating, insisting she didn't give anyone permission to release the news.
The new romance went public last week (ends06Nov15) after several news outlets ran with what appeared to be an official line from the No Doubt star's representative.
The statement read: "Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating."
But Gwen insists she didn't go public with the fling, telling America's syndicated Frankie and Geena Morning Show on Tuesday (10Nov15), "I never said nothing about being in a new relationship. I don't know who said that but somebody did."
Gwen and Blake were spotted holding hands at a party following the CMA Awards in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday (04Nov15), but the No Doubt star is still playing coy about a new romance.
"My kid came in last night to tell me about it," she told the radio hosts. "So, that's how crazy my life is. People can just say whatever they want and then they can just believe it."
Stefani and her husband of 13 years, Gavin Rossdale, announced they had split in August (15), while Blake and fellow country singer Miranda Lambert shocked the world by revealing they had quietly divorced in July (15).
Both Gwen and Blake are judges on the current season of U.S. TV talent show The Voice, and she has made no secret of her feelings about the Boys 'Round Here singer, telling U.S. DJ Ryan Seacrest, "I do think he's hot, don't you?"
