Gwen Stefani sometimes feels "like a single mother" because of her hectic workload.
The singer-and-fashion designer has two young sons, Kingston and Zuma, with her husband Gavin Rossdale. Keeping up with the demands of her family and her busy work schedule can prove to be a challenge at times.
"Sometimes, I feel like a single mother who tries to succeed in all fronts," she confessed to French magazine Be. "I have the feeling that I will never succeed, that something is going to break at one point, but for now, it works..."
The No Doubt star is continuing to make music, while also working on her luxury clothing range, L.A.M.B.
The 42-year-old is determined not to let her children feel the effects of her hectic career.
"Working and being a mum is a permanent dilemma," she admits.
"I don't want my children to pay the price of my work, I am always vigilant... I take my children to school, I pick them up from school, I manage the daily routine, plus the rest which is my different clothes lines in which I need to be involved... After that, I arrive at the studio around 4pm and I work with the band."
