Gwen Stefani feels like "pulling her hair out" because her life is so stressful at times.
The American singer has two sons with her husband Gavin Rossdale, runs a fashion business and is also still making music.
Although she loves her life she admits having so many demands on her can be hard at times. In an ideal world, Gwen would love to stay in bed and relax most days.
"It's not ambition, it's passion. Generally, I'm lazy. I just want to lie in bed. The TV will just be on – I won't be watching anything specific – and I'll shop online aimlessly. There's Yoox, Shopbop, Net-a-Porter… Even if I don't buy anything, I like to look," she admitted to InStyle magazine. "I can't imagine a day off really. I didn't know that all of this would happen at one time – that I'd be a wife and mom, still making records, having three clothing lines… and pulling my hair out."
Gwen has adapted to her busy workload by learning to trust her employees. She has realised it's too stressful to be involved in every small decision.
"At work, I've learned how to delegate," she explained. "It makes you a better wife and mom. You don't have to be on a ladder in a warehouse, micromanaging. You can be at home. And teamwork is also such a big part of marriage and parenting."
Although Gwen discussed her family in a roundabout way, she won't go into details. The 42-year-old explained she's made a conscious decision to hold some things back.
"Everyone knows I love [Gavin]; he's awesome. But it's private, and I would rather not get in trouble!" she laughed.
