Gwen Stefani left her friend Adam Levine lost for words after jokingly declaring her love for hew new boyfriend Blake Shelton.
Gwen and Adam sit alongside each other on the judging panel of US TV show The Voice, joining Pharrell Williams and Gwen's love interest Blake. Ahead of Monday night's (23Nov15) show, the blonde beauty and Maroon 5 frontman spoke to ET about the upcoming annual US Thanksgiving holiday on 26 November (15), revealing what they appreciate.
"I'm just so grateful that I got to know Adam," Gwen grinned. "It's weird because he's such a good person, he's literally so smart and he's so witty and talented and I've just learned so much."
Adam went in with a humorous approach, telling the camera, "F**k Blake. I've known Blake for too long. Blake's just my buddy. I'm just kidding. I love you, Blake! Kinda. Ish."
If Gwen and Blake's romance wasn't obvious enough from their public displays of affection on the programme, the No Doubt front woman certainly heated things up with her next remark. She leaned into the microphone and added: "I love you too, Blake. Ish."
It made the interview all the more amusing, as Adam had joked he was only standing alongside Gwen to protect her from personal questions. But once Gwen let slip the L word, the tattooed musician quickly changed his outlook.
"You screwed yourself on that one!" Adam laughed to his friend. "I protect you and you do something like that?!"
Gwen and Blake began dating following the end of their marriages; Gwen split from her husband Gavin Rossdale in August (15) while Blake and Miranda Lambert divorced in July (15). While Gwen recently admitted she wishes her nuptials didn't end in an official split, she also shared how it's inspired her to pen new songs.
"I wish it didn't happen, I wish that all of this wasn't happening, but at the same time I feel like it was part of my life journey," she said on 97.4 Fresh FM's The Tommy Show. "I feel like it's part of what I contribute to the world and I feel really proud of that."
