The 41-year-old found out that model Daisy Lowe was Gavin's secret love child and then a gay love affair from the 80s surfaced.
But Gwen is still impressed by her and Rossdale's commitment to each other.
In an interview in the April edition of Elle magazine, Gwen said: 'I've been with Gavin for 14 years, and, let's face it, that's a huge accomplishment.
'I feel so proud of that, it hasn't been the easiest journey.'
The singer discussed another one of her troubles - she can't handle not being pretty.
Stefani added: 'It is a daily struggle.
'I work out five days a week; I can't imagine not doing it. If I appear on stage when I am not looking my best, it is not fun for me.'
