James Brown offspring claims

The battle for a slice of the late James Brown's will has taken a twist with two of at least a dozen claims that the legendary funk-soul singer are telling the truth. Brown who died on Christmas Day 2006 named six children in his will. Its currently being disputed and DNA proof that he fathered at least two more children will further prolong final will. Further test results awaited and could reveal more offspring.

The Augusta Chronicle reported that LaRhonda Petitt, a 45 year old teacher is 99% likely to Brown's daughter, though details of the other have not been revealed. Allegedly her mother ws licked out of the audience at a gig in the ealy 60's and they had a short relationship.

Petitt is likely to claim that her own daughters should benefit from a trust fund Brown set up for his grandchildren's education.
