The 21-year-old, who slimmed down from a size 14 to a size 8, credits Zumba workouts and portion control for her transformation.
She told People magazine: 'I've always felt cute, but now I just feel sexier. I definitely didn't want to lose my curves. I'm in a good place now.
'It's fun to see the different muscle groups I couldn't see before.'
The singer says she just tried to adopt new eating habits, rather than changing what she eats.
She added to Access Hollywood: 'My diet has pretty much remained the same, if I want a piece of bread, I'm gonna have a piece of bread, but I'm making healthier decisions like instead of a bag of chips for a snack, I will see if I can find an apple.
'I've also upped my intake of vegetables and I'm drinking a lot more water.'
