Julian Casablancas reveals second Daft Punk collaboration

Julian Casablancas has revealed that there is a second unreleased Daft Punk collaboration, that is as of yet unreleased.

The Strokes frontman made a cybernetic vocoderized cameo on the track 'Instant Crush' from Random Access Memories, but it reportedly wasn't the only track they worked on. Speaking to Chilean publication Cooperativa, he said that he'd like to put the unheard material out there some day. 

"There is another Daft Punk song that we worked on that was cool," he said. "Maybe I'll get those guys we can do that one day soon, finish it."  

Meanwhile Casablancas, has stated that he aims to record with Strokes in the near future.

"I want to be friends with The Strokes," he told Cooperativa. "We are friends, you know what I mean? Just to make it work – from just sitting down and having coffee and hanging out to being on-stage and performing as a unit. Just have it all be positive friend vibes. That's the thing that brings us together, and then we do some Strokes stuff, too."
