Julianne Hough ate great food when in the UK but didn`t like haggis

The 23-year-old dancer is starring in the new movie Footloose and revealed during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno what she ate when she went to London as a child with her brother Derek.

She said: 'I just left my parents right at home, I said I wanted to go dance and sing and act.

'I ended up living with my dance coaches there, and I was there for five years. I was supposed to stay for two months but ended up staying for five years.'

She added: 'I ate a lot of great food, and not so good food. Haggis...

'I like my baked beans and stuff, but definitely... I ate some alligator, rattlesnake, alligator... I used to try a bunch of different food that was kind of my dad's thing too.'

Asked what she thought of haggis, she said: '[It's] not great. No it's like all the nasty stuff. I just told my Dad: 'Don't tell me what it is. Just let me eat it first and then tell me.' I'll try anything!'

Hough plays Ariel Moore in the new movie Footloose and was asked what her boyfriend Ryan Seacrest is like as a dancer.

She said: 'I would say he's a fun dancer. My brother does a better impression than I do. He kind of doesn't do it all at once [does an impression] and then does the clap.'
