Justin Bieber has reportedly agreed to take a paternity test, to disprove the claim that he is the father of a four-month-old baby
As previously reported on Gigwise, reports emerged last week suggesting that the teen singer, who is currently dating 19-year-old Selana Gomez, is the father of a three-month-old baby.
20-year-old Mariah Yeater has filed a lawsuit against the 17-year-old singer asking him to take a paternity test.
"Justin is in Europe, but when he returns [in two weeks], he will take the paternity test," an unnamed Bieber rep told the New York Post .
Adding: ''His lawyers are making arrangements for him to take the test, which will be done in accordance with all legal requirements. I cannot say where or when the test will take place, but it will prove that Yeater's claim is completely false."
Yeater's lawyers said they were "encouraged" by this news. "[A] test ... is the only way to definitively determine who the father is. The paternity suit was filed in good faith, and it will continue."
