Selena Gomez has apparently agreed to rekindle her romance with Justin Bieber, but only if he "changes his ways".
The young stars are believed to have split at the end of last year, but in recent months have been romantically linked again. Justin fuelled reunion rumours earlier this month by posting a picture of the pair together on Instagram. They are believed to have spent the Fourth of July holiday together and it seems this is when Justin finally convinced Selena to give him another chance.
"Justin - being the Casanova that he is - was able to change her mind... and on July 4th, we're told he won her back by promising to change his ways," reports TMZ.
Selena has apparently been unimpressed with Justin's behaviour in recent months. He has been accused of driving recklessly, feuding with neighbours, and yesterday a video surfaced of him urinating into a restaurant mop bucket. At the end of the clip, Justin is seen spraying a photo of former US President Bill Clinton with cleaning fluid and saying, "F**k Bill Clinton!"
Justin is said to have contacted the ex-leader to apologise for disrespecting him.
During their conversation, Clinton apparently accepted Justin's apology and told him to be careful about the people he is friends with.
"In life u will make mistakes and people will try and tear u down...but u gotta stay positive. Stay strong..and learn to be better...and always live to serve others and The Lord. #growingeveryday," Justin wrote on his Twitter account.
"@billclinton thanks for taking the time to talk Mr. President. Your words meant alot. #greatguy," Justin tweeted after their chat.
There is hope that Selena can help Justin get back on track.
Insiders claim the singer-and-actress is an "extremely positive influence" on the 19-year-old popstar and Justin's behaviour only began to spiral out of control after they parted ways.
"If anyone can change him, it's her," a source told TMZ.
Selena hinted she still had feelings for her superstar ex after recently unveiling her new single Love Will Remember.
The track opens with an unnamed male – believed to be Justin – leaving a voicemail message saying he loves her "so, so, so much" and calling her his "princess".
