Justin Bieber has apologised for the late-running of his UK show last night.
The teen icon was scheduled to start his set at The O2 arena at 8.30pm yesterday, but didn't hit the stage until almost two hours later.
Justin's delayed appearance left many of his fans irate, especially parents of those young enough to have school early the next day.
The 19-year-old has now taken to his Twitter account to explain the incident and apologise to his followers.
"since i have been here [in the UK] it hasnt been easy with the press at times but I have loved it. so let me say this..." he wrote.
"last night i was scheduled after 3 opening acts to go on stage at 935 not 830 but because of some technical issues i got on at 10:10..so..."
"i was 40 min late to stage. there is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset. However it was great show and Im proud of that (sic)."
The young heartthrob has hit headlines recently for a number of controversial reasons, including his alleged use of marijuana.
Justin insists last night's scheduling issues were blown out of proportion.
"my relationship with the media is not always easy but im trying. Im all about the music and the performance and i respect my fans," he insisted.
"i never have any intent to upset or let anyone down. and Im not okay with things being exaggerated. once again sorry for anyone upset.(sic)"
The singer's Believe Tour continues with a further performance at The O2 arena tonight.
The star has promised fans a good show and insists he will be on time.
"now we have a show to do today and Im gonna focus on the positive and put on a great show tonight here in London," he tweeted.
"NIGHT 2 at the 02 is gonna be even better. get ready. Thanks (sic)."
