American Idol won the title of most searched for TV show and reality programme, while Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal wedding made most searched celebrity event of the year.
Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were absent from the top ten, and despite the pair's latest movie The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part One being a massive box office hit, it was beaten on Bing by the new installment of the Mission Impossible franchise - Ghost Protocol.
