Justin Bieber is enjoying some "much-needed" time off.
The star has hit headlines for various reasons recently, including his on/off relationship with Selena Gomez and accusations about speeding around his neighbourhood in his Ferrari.
Now the 19-year-old has decided to take a break from his hectic lifestyle, which seems to be helping him reflect.
"enjoying the much needed time off. just needed to come on here and say i appreciate all of u. thanks. love u. (sic)" he shared with fans on Twitter.
The teenage heartthrob has been making the most of his free time by relaxing.
The sunshine also seemed to lift Justin's mood over the weekend.
"having fun," he wrote.
"beach weather all day. good stuff (sic)."
The star has also been using the time to support his famous friends.
As well as telling his followers to check out pal Jaden Smith's new film After Earth, Justin also helped promote The Wanted's new show, The Wanted Life.
"good luck @NathanTheWanted with the new show tonight. whole team is watching it. good luck fellas. @thewanted @RyanSeacrest (sic)" he posted.
After a difficult period, the singer seems to be relaxing.
Justin was tagged in an Instagram snap by a friend, showing the star covered in mud after a day out.
"Yeah! Dirt biking and eating cupcakes make the best combo @justinbieber (sic)," his pal captioned the photo.
While Justin seems happy to put the past behind him, his neighbours apparently feel differently.
According to TMZ those living near the young singer want him to feel the repercussions of alleged nuisances, such as the reckless driving claims and noise from house parties.
The website writes that some residents in the gated community have decided to withhold the $1,000 a month they pay to the homeowners association (HOA).
Apparently they hope it will encourage the HOA to give Justin a "stern reminder" about the neighbourhood rules he is said to have broken.
