Justin Bieber reveals that he is on the road to recovery following his collapse at a London concert.
TMZ reported the 19-year-old star felt lightheaded and had difficulty breathing when he went backstage initially with four songs left to perform during his show at London's O2 Arena Thursday night. He collapsed at that time and medical personnel gave him oxygen in a private room.
Justin finished his performance and was rushed to hospital soon thereafter.
Posting a picture of him in a hospital bed via Instagram, the singer revealed that he and doctors are still investigating what went wrong.
"getting better. thanks for everyone pulling me thru tonight." Justin wrote on Twitter.
"best fans in the world. figuring out what happened. thanks for the love (sic)"
Justin has since been released from the undisclosed medical centre.
An insider told British newspaper The Mirror the star was "just very tired from a long week" and was in hospital "for precautionary reasons".
On Monday Justin showed up two hours late to his first performance in London, infuriating young fans and their parents. Many attendees had to leave early in order to get enough rest for school the next day.
He has also been snapped smoking what appears to marijuana and partying incredibly hard all over the world.
Apparently executives at Justin's record label initiated somewhat of an emergency intervention session with him this week. During the discussion the singer received "a serious talking-to" regarding his recent behaviour.
"It was suggested he start staying in more and basically cleaning up his act," a source told the publication.
