Justin Bieber competed in a dance-off with his celebrity friends at his birthday party last week.
The singer celebrated turning 18 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles on Friday night. Justin is renowned for his musical talents and is also a confident dancer, so his famous pals challenged him to show off his moves.
Also involved in the dance-off were Jaden and Willow Smith, Ashley Tisdale and Cody Simpson. While other competitors reportedly proved superior to Justin on the dance floor, his loved ones didn't want to spoil his big day.
"[Justin's friends] let him win because it was his birthday," a source told New York Daily News.
One onlooker claims "Jaden is a bomb-ass dancer" and the 13-year-old actor would have won the competition if it had been judged fairly. However, no one minded too much when Justin was deemed the best mover as "everyone was having a blast".
During the evening, Taio Cruz decided to celebrate Justin's birthday with an impromptu performance. According to insiders, the English rapper couldn't resist belting out one of his songs for the crowd.
"He literally grabbed the mic when the deejay played his song and sang to the track," a source revealed.
Partygoers were also treated to a performance by Carly Rae Jepsen. The Canadian singer-songwriter recently signed with Justin's manager Scooter Braun and is planning to work with Justin in the near future.
