Justin Bieber has "something special planned" for his New Year's Eve show.
The teenage superstar is performing live from Times Square for Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest.
Justin has revealed that he is thrilled to be part of such a legendary event.
"NYE in Times Square NYC with @RyanSeacrest Saturday Night. got something special planned, (sic) " he Tweeted.
Justin will join Lady Gaga, Pitbull, Hot Chelle Rae, Florence + The Machine, Gym Class Heroes, Nicki Minaj and Taio Cruz for the 40th edition of the annual show.
The ABC programme will last for nearly six hours and will feature 29 performances from all the stars.
Ryan Seacrest admitted the show has been timed very carefully.
"In NYC headed to meeting for #NYRE…we're finalizing sched for @LadyGaga & @JustinBieber performances. Every sec is calculated (sic)," he typed.
The show also includes the iconic crystal ball dropping in Times Square. Lady Gaga has been selected by Mayor Michael Bloomberg to ceremoniously push the Waterford Crystal button at 11.59 pm, officially beginning the ball's descent.
The singer expressed her excitement about the event on her Twitter account.
"And I'm so looking forward to performing on NYE+dropping the Ball with Mayor Bloomberg! What an honor as a New Yorker! (sic)," she wrote.
