Justin Bieber wants to "shock people" with his acting.
The Canadian pop star previously tested out his dramatic skills, appearing in the US TV show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as a troubled teen in 2010. Justin is eager to pursue further acting projects, but wants to find the perfect role to impress with.
"We're working with a lot of people to try to find great scripts and great opportunities for me… that's definitely something I want to get into, so now I'm just trying to find the best ideas," he told Access Hollywood Live. "[You've] got to make the right decisions and the right choices. I don't want to come in and be like, 'Oh yeah, he's just another singer that's trying to be an actor and can't really act.'
"I want to shock people [with my acting]… I want it to be a shock."
Justin turned 18 earlier this month. The star has been busy keeping in shape and has been working on his "guns".
The star has embarked on a new fitness regime and he hopes he will soon be able to show off the results.
"[I'm doing] different things, different work outs," he explained. "We do a lot of body weight stuff, just trying to put on some [muscle,] get some guns going on."
Earlier this week, Justin released his new single Boyfriend and Madonna invited him to join her on stage during her world tour this year.
