Justin Bieber may have dodged criminal charges in his alleged reckless driving case.
The 19-year-old singer is reportedly under investigation after residents in his gated Los Angeles community told police he was dangerously speeding over Memorial Day weekend.
It is claimed Justin reached speeds of 100mph in the area, with several residents showing concern for the safety of their children and pets on multiple occasions.
American football star Keyshawn Johnson previously complained about the issue to TMZ.
He accused Justin of switching seats with a passenger in his car shortly before he confronted him about the issue.
Law enforcement sources now tell the website L.A. County Sheriff's Deputies secured video footage recorded outside of Justin's residence on the day in question.
The five-minute clip seems to verify it is Justin's friend Tyler, the Creator who was behind the wheel of the star's Ferrari.
Justin is reportedly shown following closely behind the vehicle on his motorcycle.
Keyshawn is then seen arriving to the home. Then Justin gets into the vehicle to pull it into the garage, according to the website.
TMZ reports, "at least one witness insists Justin was driving the car" although the video does not depict Justin behind the wheel at any point.
The case is being sent to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for review.
A source said it is "highly unlikely" criminal charges will be filed.
Keyshawn lashed out at Justin in a video posted by TMZ earlier this month.
The 40-year-old accused the singer of endangering his one-year-old and three-year-old children.
"You got a 19-year-old kid, feeling entitled, speeding up and down the highway. That's why all the neighbours is mad," he vented. "You can't do that."
"You've got a bunch of handlers running around kissing your a*s," Keyshawn continued.
"He and his handlers, his goons, whatever they are to him, they have to protect him. At the end of the day all I want to do is protect my kids," he said, adding that Justin will now have to "answer to the DA's office and not me".
The case continues.
