Like so many A-listers before him, Justin Bieber isn't holding back when he sits down with Oprah Winfrey. He is set to get real during his November episode of "Oprah's Next Chapter."
Winfrey filmed the epiode earlier this week, while Bieber was in Chicago on his Believe tour, and she managed to get the sometimes-guarded pop singer to candidly dish about his personal life. In a tease released Thursday on "Good Morning America," he opens up about the steps he takes to ensure he spends time with his longtime girlfriend, Selena Gomez, despite the constant media circus surrounding them.
"Sometimes... sometimes we gotta to take the back exits and do different things, but I never make her separate from me cause I don't want her to feel like I'm ashamed of her," he says in the episode airing November 25 on Oprah's OWN network.
"I feel like a lot of guys do that — especially in the business," he added. "They don't want to be seen with their girl so they'll make them ride in separate cars and do all that 'getaway' stuff. When we get away, we're getting away together."
The episode will not only include their chat over dinner at RL Restaurant in Chi-Town, but also will feature their shopping together in the Windy City. After the clip premiered, Oprah shared, "It's the biggest thing I've done since Michael Jackson in 1993."
In addition to airing on OWN, this episode of "Oprah's Next Chapter" will also air on TLC, Home & Health and Real Time the next day. It will be broadcast in more than 100 countries. Of the episode, Winfrey added in a statement on Wednesday that it was "one of the most in-depth interviews the singer has ever agreed to do."
