Justin Bieber joked with fans on Twitter after a video emerged of him flipping a chair over in a restaurant.
TMZ.com posted footage of the 21-year-old singer apparently having a temper tantrum as he ate in the eatery in Cannes, South of France, on Saturday (07Nov15).
In the video, Justin can be seen standing up at a table outside the restaurant and knocking the chair over as his dining companion appears to pay the bill.
But after the incident, Justin took to his social network page to set the record straight.
Justin began by posting a video of a man throwing another man across a gymnasium, along with the caption: "I love you guys".
He continued to reveal his actions were a response to some "bad personal news" he had been given by his friend.
"Just took pics (sic) with a bunch of beliebers," Justin tweeted. "I must of been mad at them. Lol.
"Don't listen to what the media has to say. U want to know me. How I feel. What I'm about. It is all right here," he continued, with a link to his new album Purpose.
"Letting the music do the talking," Justin concluded.
Justin's fans were quick to support their idol, posting video after video of people throwing chairs – much to the delight of the singer.
"I love u guys. This is funny as hell," he added.
Justin has been hitting headlines in recent months thanks to some controversial behaviour.
The first incident came when Justin walked out of a radio interview in Spain after an incredibly awkward line of questioning from the presenters. Just a matter of weeks later, Justin stormed off stage after performing just one song of a concert in Oslo, Norway.
He later claimed his departure was due to fans in the front row not listening, and wrote on Instagram: "Sadly it's been a rough week for me, long days, no sleep, while having to be 'on' as they would say for cameras fans etc…
"In no way did I mean to come across mean, but chose to end the show as the people in the front row would not listen."
