On his newest album, Never Say Never - The Remixes, Justin Bieber teams up with a number of musicians, including Rascal Flatts, Miley Cyrus and even Kanye West. Bieber also worked with Chris Brown on a new version of his track "Up" for the disc, which hit stores this week.
News of the collaboration first hit the Web in late December, when Bieber and Brown tweeted about working together. The 16-year-old said he and Brown had a great time in the studio and that Brown even had some advice for the teen star.
"[We] just talk about regular stuff, nothing too crazy," he told. "Just like staying humble and remember that God got us in this position, so always make sure to just bless him and praise him."
Bieber also worked with Kanye West for a remixed version of "Runaway Love," and he gave some insight into what it's like to work with the eccentric rapper. "It was amazing," he gushed. "He's such a cool guy, and he's just really laid-back and just nice, and at the end of the day, he's just a nice person.
"It's funny, because he doesn't even use a phone; he just sends e-mail," the pop star further revealed. "It's so crazy. I'm like, 'How can you not use a phone?' "
Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, teased the album and its guest appearances in a chat with fans. "Yes, Justin is working on new music," Braun said last month. "He's been talking to Drake about new music. [Bieber] and Kanye had a call today about a song they're trying to work on together; Kanye wants to produce a bunch of new songs for the new album. He's talked with Rascal Flatts. Him and Chris Brown have been sending stuff back and forth to each other."
