Maybe he was feeling nervous about pulling double duty on "Saturday Night Live," an appearance he hyped up to Jimmy Fallon to be "the Justin Bieber show." Either way, Justin Bieber got sick prepping for the gig in New York City.
No matter what its cause, manager Scooter Braun first broke the news of Bieber's pre-show illness, tweeting, "Great first day at SNL with @justinbieber ...so he vomited a little bit. Guys a trooper . #justliketour #BieberOnSNL."
Always the pro, Bieber has confirmed that he was back to work on Wednesday (February 6), as he preps to be the host and musical guest for the late-night comedy show on February 9.
"Think i had food poisoning yesterday. rested up," he tweeted Wednesday morning. However, those jitters still seemed to linger, as he added, "am i nervous? yep. #outofmyelement . but im excited. #BIEBERonSNL."
While it's still unknown what caused his food poisoning this time around, it isn't the first time he's gained attention getting sick. He threw up on stage during the Arizona stop of his tour, which he attributed to a lethal combination of link id="1694857">spaghetti and milk.
As Bieber heads into the weekend, he has much more than just his "SNL" gig to celebrate. His latest release, Believe Acoustic, has debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts. "WE did it! #HISTORY - thank u. #BELIEVEacoustic is the #1 selling album in the WORLD and OUR fifth #1! First time ever! OUR ALBUMS! thank u," he tweeted. "let's keep it going...we got more HISTORY TO MAKE! LOVE U! Hope u are enjoying the albums and the music. That is what it is all about..MUSIC."
