Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez Party After AMAs: Is Jelena Back?

One week after and Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez made headlines for their rumored breakup, they're keeping fans guessing about whether or not they will get back together.

The weekend may have culminated in Jelena hitting up an AMAs afterparty together Sunday night, but things were rockier mere days before. On Friday night, the two hit up a Japanese restaurant in L.A., where sources said the two began arguing and ended up leaving separately in their own cars.

A source told E! News, "Something must have happened inside the restaurant, because 10 minutes after he arrived, they both stormed out looking stone-faced. They were very serious and did not look happy at all. She got in her car, and Justin got into his."

She headed back to her house, the report continues, and he followed. But he was allegedly denied access at the gate, where he was snapped standing outside her house. It looked like Gomez came out at one point, but Bieber remained outside her property.

"When he got there, he started buzzing her gate," E! further reports. "But she was obviously not letting him in. He continued trying. Then, after a while he got out of his car, he was obviously frustrated and went up to the gate and started yelling 'Selena' over it. But...she was not coming out." According to the site, his car was there on Saturday morning, despite the fight the night before.

After the incident, he tweeted out this cryptic message to his fans, "things arent always easy. there is alot of pressure. im figuring it all out. im trying. but i care, i notice, i still hear u. #Beliebers."

E! reports that Gomez spent some of her weekend at a recording studio where she was joined by Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus. She was also reportedly visited by Bieber, who also spent part of the day rehearsing for the AMAs.

That night, Gomez opted for a girl's night out with her pal, Swift. They hit up , where they were spotted walking out together, all smiles, even as they tried to hide their faces from the camera lenses. Sources add that after the dinner date they headed back to the studio before she and Bieber left together to go to the Four Seasons Hotel.

Come Sunday, Bieber may have hit up the 2012 American Music Awards with his mom, but it was his post-show company of Selena that may raised a few eyebrows. After Bieber scooped up three prizes and hit the stage with Nicki Minaj (who kept in her Selena Gomez line in "Beauty and a Beat"), Gomez and Bieber were photographed together an afterparty.

Regardless of what does end up happening between the two, they each have projects to keep them busy. Bieber is currently on his Believe tour, while Gomez is prepping a March album release.
