Justin Bieber reportedly thinks buying Michael Jackson's Neverland ranch is a "no-brainer".
The 19-year-old pop star currently resides in a $6.2 million Calabasas, California mansion, but it is claimed he is looking to move out of the Los Angeles area as soon as possible.
The King of Pop's sprawling estate in the sleepy central California town of Los Olivos, California has been neglected since Michael lost it in 2008, one year before his death.
Justin is apparently eager to get his hands on the legendary property and has sent his real estate team to check it out.
"Neverland is up for sale so it's a no-brainer for Justin, he would love to live there," a source told British newspaper the Sunday People.
"Michael Jackson is his idol. The only issue is that it is rundown and would need a fair amount of work."
Justin has been embroiled in a series of scandals throughout the year, in which he is accused of speeding, spitting in people's faces and being involved in fights amongst other raucous behaviour.
Apparently his loved ones are urging him to take it easy.
"Justin has been caught up in a fair amount of trouble lately so the best thing is for him to get out of central LA and live a quieter life," the source said.
"His team genuinely fear for him and want him to calm down and be happy. They've found the ideal solution, which is to move him to a ranch hours out of the city where he won't be constantly hounded."
