Katherine Jenkins is "absolutely besotted" with newborn daughter Aaliyah.
The Welsh opera singer announced the arrival of her little girl on Twitter on Wednesday (30Sep15).
The baby is the first child for both Katherine, 35, and her film director husband Andrew Levitas.
Alongside a cute collage of pictures featuring Aaliyah's feet and a striped beanie hat, Katherine wrote: " Introducing our daughter Aaliyah Reign Levitas, who came loudly into the world weighing almost 7 lbs. and surrounded by love.
"We are absolutely besotted with her & grateful for the beautiful blessing of this happy, healthy, little miracle. Cwtches [cuddles] all round."
Andrew also took to his own page to express his excitement over the new arrival, writing: "Mummy is recovering well and Daddy couldn't be prouder of his two gorgeous princesses."
Aaliyah's actual birth date has yet to be confirmed.
Katherine and Andrew began dating in February last year (14) before Andrew proposed two months later.
They married in a romantic ceremony at Hampton Court Palace, England, and announced their pregnancy news on social media in April this year (15).
"We are overjoyed to be expecting our first child in the autumn," they elaborated to Mail Online. "Starting a family and moving into this exciting phase of our lives is a blessing for which we are incredibly grateful. We eagerly await the arrival of our little girl!"
Katherine had never made a secret of her desire to have children. And after marrying Andrew, she said she didn't want to wait to start her family.
"Now I'm married I do want kids. I do really want a family," she told British newspaper The Sunday People in November (14). "Please God, touch wood, we'll be lucky and they'll be fit and healthy. That's all I care about. Having kids is on the list of priorities. We'll see what happens."
