Kevin Jonas and wife expecting child

Kevin Jonas was "overjoyed" to learn that his wife Danielle Deleasa is pregnant.

The 25-year-old Jonas Brothers crooner and the former hairdresser tied the knot in December 2009. Kevin's brothers Nick and Joe served as best men at the Long Island nuptial ceremony.

Kevin announced to E! News Tuesday that he and Danielle are now expecting their first child together.

Kevin is feeling countless emotions about the news at this time.

"I was overjoyed. It's been the most exciting thing in my life so far," he gushed to the outlet.

"I'm excited and I'm nervous."

Kevin and Danielle star in reality series Married to Jonas, a programme that follows the couple's every move.

The lovebirds met in the Bahamas in 2007, but Kevin says Danielle was hardly interested in dating him initially.

"It was a fluke moment where I tried to schmooze her, [but] she wanted nothing to do with me. She wanted off-time from the boys. I was ready to go right there!" he laughed during an interview on Australian radio show Kyle and Jackie O recently.

"At the time we met, [the Jonas Brothers] hadn't really done anything yet; she didn't even know who the Jonas Brothers were!"
