Kevin Jonas expecting a girl

Kevin and Danielle Jonas are expecting a baby girl.

The couple revealed the gender of their first child online by sharing their ultrasound picture.

The image on Instagram was illustrated with a cute pink bow where the shape of the baby's head was shown.

"It's a girl! Thank you everyone! She's sucking her thumb!" Kevin posted via his social networking account.

"I am so happy I been able to share everything & not have secrets it's been so nice. Thank u for all the tweets of excitement," Danielle added.

The 25-year-old expectant mum appears on E! reality show Married to Jonas with the eldest Jonas Brothers member, who is the same age as her.

Even the mother of Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas chimed in on Twitter declaring that she was excited have more girls around the house.

"After years of testosterone-Finally estrogen!! I am so blessed to have a granddaughter," Denise Jonas tweeted.

Kevin has been married to Danielle since December 2009 and the pair announced their happy news last month.

Their tot is due in January 2014 and Kevin thinks his brothers will make great uncles.

"He'll bring… morals and passion and music," Kevin told Access Hollywood about Nick recently. "[Joe will] bring this adventurous side."

Joe apparently agrees with his brother's expectations.

"I want to be able to be like, Kevin calls me three days later like, 'What? Where's my kid?' And I'm like, 'I have her in Taiwan, I forgot to tell you.' I want the kid to be adventurous," he laughed in a recent interview.
