Kevin Jonas says his TV show is like having a "24/7 marriage counsellor".
The singer stars in reality series Married to Jonas, which follows his and wife Danielle Deleasa's every move.
With most arguments captured on camera, Kevin likes to learn from past mistakes by watching episodes back.
"There are definitely moments where you wanna turn the cameras off and be like, 'Wait a minute, I don't necessarily want this on TV!' And moments where you think, 'Wow, I was quite a jerk in that,'" he confessed to Australian radio show Kyle and Jackie O.
"It's like having a marriage counsellor with you 24/7! [I] watch them back and any argument you can say things you don't mean and you get irritated."
Kevin met Danielle while on holiday in The Bahamas in 2007.
Despite initially not being interested, the former hairdresser eventually fell for the singer.
"It was a fluke moment where I tried to schmooze her, [but] she wanted nothing to do with me. She wanted off-time from the boys. I was ready to go right there!" he laughed.
"At the time we met, [the Jonas Brothers] hadn't really done anything yet; she didn't even know who the Jonas Brothers were!"
Kevin makes up a third of the band with his siblings Joe and Nick.
Unlike other stars who found fame early in life, the 25-year-old and his brothers have remained on the straight and narrow.
"Yeah, obviously with the wrong direction and things around you that aren't the best, you can see some of the greatest people who turn into someone else," he said of stars less fortunate than himself. "It's hard to judge what's happening."
