The trailer for a forthcoming Kings Of Leon documentary shows the band's schism between religion and stardom.
The forthcoming documentary Talihina Sky examines the religious struggles of the Followill clan who make up superstar rockers the Kings Of Leon.
A trailer for the film has emerged, showing the band confessing that they felt like they were going to hell for getting a record deal, smoking pot and drinking, puking, imitating drug use, fighting, and firing a gun.
It shows family video of their heavily religious Pentecostal upbringing in Tennessee and throughout the Deep South, and interviews with Caleb, Nathan and Jared's United Pentecostal Church preacher father Ivan Leon Followill.
He says, ' don't wanna say my kids are going to hell, nothing like that, but as far as what I envisioned [for their future], it's a little different'.
The film, named after a Kings Of Leon song that itself is named after an Oklahoma town, will debut at Tribeca Film Festival on April 21.
