The Kings of Leon have had to cancel tonight's O2 date after firefighters spent this mornng tackling the flames on board two of their tour buses.
The US rockers were loading equipment just before lunch-time but had to stop to assess the damage done by the water used to put it out.
Following the disruption the venue has issed the following statement:
"With great regret tonight's Kings of Leon's concert at London's 02 Arena has been postponed. The complications and disruption caused by this mornings fire have meant there is now insufficient time to rig the arena for tonight's performance. Every opportunity has been made to allow the concert to go ahead as planned and it is a great disappointment to have to postpone the event. As per earlier reports from the London Fire Brigade, we are thankful to report that all crew are safe and no one was seriously injured. Kings of Leon send their sincerest apologies to all the fans who were planning & travelling to attend what was due to be a triumphant finale to their European tour tonight. The date will be rescheduled in 2011 at the first available opportunity."
Tonight was going to be the band's last confirmed gig before March next year.
