Kings Of Leon have rescheduled two gigs affected by singer Caleb Followill's recent voice problems.
The singer was forced to abandon a gig in Dallas on Friday (July 29) amid fan claims that he was too drunk to perform.
But an official statement said had suffered “heat exhaustion and dehydration”, which caused” his vocal chords to seize”.
The problem forced the group to pull out of a concert at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston, Texas, the following night (July 30).
The gig at the Gexa Energy Pavillion in Dallas will now take place on September 21, with the band's Houston date scheduled for the following night (22).
Fans with tickets to both of the original dates have been told that their tickets remain valid for the re-arranged ones.
As previously reported on Gigwise, drummer Nathan Followill has said he feels “ashamed and embarrassed” about the circumstances surrounding the band's axed gig in Dallas.
In a later tweet, the drummer thanked fans who had offered their support. “Don't be getting all worried on me,” he added.
Kings Of Leon are next scheduled to perform on August 2.
