Kings of Leon star Nathan Followill has married his long-term girlfriend.
The drummer and singer/songwriter Jessie Baylin tied the knot on Saturday (14.11.09) at Wolf Den Farm in Tennessee in front of friends and family, including his bandmates and actress Scarlett Johansson.
The band's representative said: "The wedding was beautiful. It was a gorgeous, 70-degree day. It was a very love-affirming wedding with lots of warmth and happiness."
Guests enjoyed food catered for by local Nashville restaurant Miel, while the couple's first dance was to an instrumental Hawaiian lap steel guitar tune.
Following the wedding, Nathan spoke of his joy at tying the knot, writing on his Twitter page: "I woke up with a married woman in my bed this morning. Luckily, she was mine."
Before the nuptials, the 30-year-old rocker – who began dating Jessie in 2006 - told of his excitement at becoming a married man.
He said: "This time tomorrow night I will be wearing some new jewelry. I'm so excited for tomorrow. A new day, a new life, and a new wife. Thanks Jess."
