Last month, Taylor Swift announced the Nov. 21 release of "Speak Now World Tour - Live," a live Blu-Ray/DVD set that chronicles her most recent blockbuster tour. On Friday (Oct. 7), Lady Gaga announced a live Blu-Ray/DVD release that chronicles her own blockbuster tour -- and, coincidentally, it's set to hit stores on Nov. 21.
Aside from sharing a release date with T-Swift's live set, however, "Lady Gaga Presents The Monster Ball Tour at Madison Square Garden" is a bit of a different release than "Speak Now World Tour - Live." For one, "The Monster Ball Tour" was already seen by 1.2 million little monsters when the live special first aired on HBO in May, although the DVD will include never-before-seen footage.

In addition, the "Monster Ball Tour" DVD will be accompanied by the release of "Born This Way The Remix," a 14-track album in which artists like "Pumped Up Kicks" stars Foster The People, mysterious R&B artist the Weeknd and Michael Woods take a crack at Gaga's latest opus. "Born This Way The Remix" follows last year's "The Remix," a collection of "The Fame" and "The Fame Monster" reworkings which featured contributions from Pet Shop Boys, Passion Pit and Alphabeat and has sold 249,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The Weeknd To Remix Lady Gaga
Two other Gaga items are also slated to arrive on Nov. 21: a new, 17-track edition of "Born This Way," as well as the pop star's "Lady Gaga x Terry Richardson" book. The extended "Born This Way" album, "Remix" album and "Monster Ball Tour" DVD will be bundled together in a package called "Born This Way, The Collection."
The announcement caps off a week in which the music video for Lady Gaga's giddy duet with Tony Bennett, "The Lady is a Tramp," premiered, and the pop star was tapped as the subject for an upcoming biopic on Lifetime. Imagine what Mother Monster will accomplish next week.
