Leonard Cohen is suing his long-time business manager for allegedly defrauding the singer of at least $5 million (£2.8 million).
The legendary artist filed a suit in Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday seeking damages for alleged breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, common law fraud, professional negligence and other claims against Kelley Lynch.
According to Reuters, tax lawyer Richard Westin was also named as a defendant for allegedly mismanaging Cohen's retirement funds.
According to the suit, Lynch was Cohen's business manager for around 17 years until he fired her in October 2004 for allegedly taking money out of his personal and investment accounts.
