Liam Gallagher would rather not take advice from Robbie Williams.
The former Oasis frontman hit out against the ex Take That singer after he commented on his new music.
Liam is now playing with Beady Eye but didn't appreciate Robbie's comments regarding his latest tunes.
"We didn't make a record to satisfy some requirements, this was our project," Liam told The Sun newspaper. "Robbie Williams said the record's good but the songs have no chorus. I'd rather shoot myself in the balls than follow his advice."
Liam revealed that he doesn't look to other bands for encouragement with his songs.
Instead he wants to get an MP3 player and put his own tracks on their to enjoy.
"I do not listen to other music, so I don't get my inspiration from anybody else, but maybe I should buy an iPod."
Beady Eye recently had to alter the cover of their new album, BE, because some outlets would not stock it.
It featured a half-naked picture of photographer Harry Pecinotti's spouse lying on her back.
"Everyone has nipples, they could have put tape on it if they had to," Liam said.
The star additionally addressed some of the poor reviews his LP has had recently.
He has decided that the reception he gets at concerts from an audience is what counts over critiques.
"Ultimately the only thing I care about is how people react to the live shows," Liam confessed.
