According to the report, the staffer scolded Lohan for returning after curfew, at which point Lohan, 24, is alleged to have pushed the woman. The actress denies the assault allegations. TMZ.com said that Lohan is a suspect in a criminal battery investigation and that the staff member at the clinic is determined to see her prosecuted.
Lohan is at the southern California rehab centre until at least January 3 on court orders to address drug and alcohol addiction. The centre regularly tests her for drug and alcohol use, and Lohan could be in more trouble for violating the terms of her probation if she tests positive.
