The Mean Girls star, who has only just got out of her latest stint in rehab, is being accused of stealing jewellery in Los Angeles, RadarOnline.com reported.
'A search warrant was requested Tuesday at the Airport Court to search Lindsay's house for the item of jewellery in question,' a law enforcement agent told the website.
The site claims that Lohan stole a high end necklace, and that law enforcement officials even have video of her wearing the piece in question.
If the jewellery is valued at $5,000 or more, the Mean Girls starlet, who is relishing her freedom after jail and rehab, could be charged with a felony.
It's unclear if the judge signed off on the search warrant, RadarOnline stated.
Lohan is still on probation and is facing possible criminal charges after a violent incident with a former Betty Ford worker on December 12.
