Lindsay Lohan and ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson shared an awkward encounter over the weekend.
The pair - who called time on their tumultuous relationship earlier this month - were dining separately at West Hollywood's Cecconi's restaurant on Sunday (12.04.09) when they spotted each other.
DJ Samantha, who was eating with a group of male friends, approached Lindsay and her mother Dina Lohan's table. The pair managed to exchange a few brief words before Samantha left alone.
Meanwhile, Lindsay has denied claims she was "totally smashed" during a night out in the Hollywood Hills on Friday (10.04.09).
It was claimed the 'Mean Girls' actress - who has completed three stints in rehab - was "incoherent" after people began giving her vodka to drink.
However, Lindsay has insisted she was actually sipping health drink Neuro Bliss, which is "proven to relax neural tissues, and to enhance brain activity, focus and provide a sense of well-being".
Lindsay has also revealed a new tattoo - the 22-year-old star opted for a Marilyn Monroe quote on her inner wrist.
The inking says, "Everyone's a star and deserves the right to twinkle" and is surrounded by a collection of yellow, blue and green stars.
Lindsay's friends have denied she is struggling to cope with her break-up from Samantha and insist the actress is determined to move on.
One explained: "She's being painted as this victim, but she's not. She's a strong girl."
