Lindsay Lohan back in court for necklace theft hearing

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Keith L Schwartz told Lohan, who is accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Venice Beach jewellery store, that she will face a preliminary hearing in the case on 22 April.

The troubled 24-year-old has until them to decide whether to accept a plea deal and face jail time, or plead not guilty and go to trial.

A probation violation hearing will be held concurrently on 22 April before Judge Stephanie Sautner if the actress does not accept the plea bargain.
