The troubled actress – who is currently on a court ordered 90-day treatment programme at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles – is said to be looking "healthy" and doing well following her release from prison last week.
Her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley said: "Ms. Lohan looks very good. She looks healthy. My client is looking forward to returning to work on her many creative endeavours upon her release from the treatment facility."
The 'Mean Girls' star is also "surprised" Judge Marsha Revel – who included the rehab stint in Lindsay's punishment for breaking a probation order - will no longer be handling her case.
The judge decided to step down from her position after prosecution attorney Danette Meyer raised an objection that Judge Revel had contacted "participants and experts" in the case without notifying lawyers in advance.
Judge Elden Fox has now been appointed as the new judge on the case.
Holley added to RadarOnline.com: "Ms. Lohan is doing very well. She was surprised that Judge Revel was no longer going to be handling the case. However, Ms. Lohan will continue to comply with the court's orders whether it's from Judge Revel, or Judge Fox."
Lindsay was released from prison on August 2 after serving just 13 days of a 90-day sentence for breaking the conditions of her probation for a 2007 driving under influence (DUI) conviction.
