Lindsay Lohan has been spotted traveling the U.S. with The Wanted, but it looks like for now she's staying put in New York City as she waits out probation hearings in L.A.
On Wednesday (December 12), prosecutors will be looking to revoke the actress' probation after she was charged with three misdemeanors in connection with a traffic accident over the summer on the Pacific Coast Highway.
Back in November, Lohan was charged with reckless driving, giving false information to a police officer and obstructing or resisting a police officer in the performance of his duty in connection to a June car accident when her Porsche hit a truck. She insisted she wasn't driving, but evidence later proved she was lying to authorities. If her probation does get revoked, she could face jail time, TMZ reports, upwards of eight months.
The site further reports that even if she isn't found guilty on the three misdemeanors tied to the accident, she could still find herself behind bars if her probation is revoked in her 2011 jewelry theft case.
However, Lohan isn't expected to be there when the sentences are handed out on Wednesday. As it turns out, she doesn't have to be by her lawyer's side in court. E! reports that while she had been planning to travel abroad with The Wanted, she is still in New York, where she was recently booked on third-degree assault charges after she reportedly punched a woman at Avenue lounge in NYC. If she does not show up in the L.A. courtroom she could be booked right on the spot. If she stays away, as expected, she will be booked on a later date.
Wherever Lohan currently is, she was definitely in New York last Friday when The Wanted played Madison Square Garden. However, on December 10 she tweeted, "I heart the UK." It's unclear if she had actually spent any time there, or if she just has pleasant feelings toward that part of the world, the same place the boy banders hail from.
At the show last Friday, Lohan's rumored beau, Wanted member Max George told that despite all the trouble she's been in lately "she's a cool girl, she's all right. She's good fun to be around."
